Alternative Ringtones - Heavy Metal Ringtones

Lots of companies and websites advertise with free ringtones. No subscriptions attached, these ads state. There are even hundreds –if not thousands- of optimized websites which offer these ‘free ringtones’. They are trying to attract people through search engines by offering them free ringtones. And if you visit their website, they’ll try to sell you a subscription.

So why do they say they have free ringtones, you ask? This can be because of a couple of things. Firstly, they can actually offer free ringtones. Get a subscription for 6 a week and pay for 5, you see what I mean? Most of these companies don’t even offer that. They try to lure you with their ‘free ringtones’ offer and hope that 1% of the visitors will buy a ringtone subscription. And be honest, haven’t you been thinking about one of those subscriptions sometimes? Most people will, occasionally, mostly because they’re getting frustrated in their search of really free ringtones.

So how do I get ringtones that are actually free, as in 100% free of charge? You’ve got three options:

1. Get a subscription that offers a limited amount of free ringtones. This can either be an unlimited amount of ringtones for a certain price, or the earlier mentioned ‘buy 6 and pay for only 5’.
2. Select one of the ringtones that is already listed on your phone. These ringtones are 100% free of charge.
3. Download the song (or sound) you want to use on your computer and transfer it to your mobile phone. And not even this is absolutely free, ‘cause you often have to pay for the bandwidth, remember?
